Counter UAS

Drones, and unmanned aerial systems, can be a significant threat to security when used by malicious actors. As recent events has shown, they can be used for terrorism, drug smuggling, and other unlawful activities that affect public safety, such as illegal flights near airports. An effective counter-UAS system must be able to detect and track rogue UAVs from large distances – alerting security personnel on the ground before it is an imminent threat – and continue tracking the vehicle until an effective kinetic or non-kinetic countermeasure is used to neutralize it. The Speed-ER enables to investigate and track small drone targets at long distances to ensure that the detected target is a relevant target  before engaging it.
